Items That Lifeguards Can Store Their Gear
If there’s one thing every lifeguard can bond over, it’s their gear. Carrying loads of equipment up and down the beach (or pool!) can be a hassle. If this struggle sounds familiar, read on for 3 ways you can cleverly store your lifeguard gear.
The great thing about duffle bags: They hide your stuff really well. They look smaller than they are, and they have a depth to them that allows for a lot of gear to be stored. Because duffle bags are longer than they are wide, it’s easy to store them under chairs or in a golf cart.

Every lifeguard has a few on-demand items that need to be pulled out at a moment’s notice. You don’t want to rummage through a duffle bag or backpack with these items — you need to be able to be on the fly. A fanny pack is just the solution. You can store your small emergency gear right at your hip and access it with one quick zip.
When you need to be able to easily access your first aid gear, a medical backpack may be just what you need. It’s easier to carry this gear on your shoulders — especially if you’re running over to a rescue. Bonus points for extra zippers and compartments so you can easily organize your things.
