The 3 Different Styles of Women’s Bathing Suits
Thick strap or thin strap? Red or blue? Logo or no logo? When it comes to lifeguard attire, the options are endless! Traditionally, the typical lifeguard swimsuit is bright red and comes with a logo. This is still an option for you, but there are plenty of others that could be considered. Here are 3 styles of women’s bathing suits for anyone who wants to mix it up!
1. Two-Toned Two Piece
Double whammy! If you’d like to add color to your suit, try a two-toned set. It comes in two traditional lifeguard tones: Red and blue. The perk of wearing a two piece set is that it keeps you cool when it’s hot outside.
2. Crossed Straps One Piece
For extra support and a stylistic touch, try to add your own bit of flair with crossed straps. These straps can either be thick straps or thin straps. Either way, it’s a nice way to add your own unique look to your lifeguard uniform. Not to mention, the open back gives you more ventilation when the sun is beating down on you!
3. Lined One Piece
You probably won’t find any fully striped lifeguard bathing suits, but you can find a suit with dynamic looking lines down the sides. This kind of suit adds a slight design to your bathing suit so it’s easier to spot you on the beach. The lines curve inward a little, which is flattering on any figure.
What are you waiting for? Because we’re off season, now is a great time to buy suits. The next time the summer months roll around, you’ll be prepared!
